I have been researching big name fashion photographers but more to the point, editorial fashion photographers. Peter Lindbergh, Steven Meisel and the Australian photographer Henryk Lobaczewski inspire me greatly.
As my interests lie in editorial shoots, I have been researching photographers closer to home as both my competition but also as my peers. Liz Ham and Amanda Austin's work appeals to me as does the work of the previously mentioned Henryk Lobaczewski.
I have been looking into agencies in Australia that represent photographers in fashion and editorial in particular. DLM, 2C Management, Network Agency, The Artist Group, and The Names Agency are a few I've been looking into although there are quite a number in Australia.
So with all that in mind, I've been busy studying and shooting all semester and I think my work is definately evolving from earlier atempts at fashion photography.
